Vans Warped Tour 2010 Review

We love the Vans Warped Tour. So many good memories over the years! With the gears already moving toward the 2011 Warped Tour, we decided to take a look back at Warped Tour 2010. Kick your feet up and enjoy the slideshow to get you pumped up for another summer of filled with sweaty fist pumping rock and roll. And if you really want to reminisce peep this trailer for the Official Van’s Warped Tour Documentary titled “No Room for Rock Stars”. The history of the Warped Tour is pretty epic, so this flick is well worth a watch.

2011 Cold Pro Festival Promo Video

If you’re a surfer and a music lover, looks like June 4th and 5th is a great weekend to book a trip to Ireland. Below is the promo video for the 2011 Cold Pro, which essentially is an awesome music fesitval accompanied by a pan-Celtic invitational surfing competition. The format for the Surfing competition is really unique ranging from a 16 man knock-out system all against all, to a tow-at session, to a Tag Team format. And the band list is massive. Big Boi was all about the Killer Sharks

While the on stage action at the KROQ Epicenter Twenty Ten was absolutley scorching, the backstage artist lounge was cool as could be. Who am i kidding? It was 100 degrees in the shade, but what was cool was getting to meet a bunch of the bands. Here’s a collection of images of bands and artists that were hyping Freestyle including Big Boi, The Knux, The Envy, Rise Against, Suicidal Tendencies and even Eminem’s Guitar Player! The new Killer Sharks and Karltons were a big hit!

KROQ Epicenter Twenty Ten – Eminem

Day one is in the books and it was a whopper. It was hotter than hot out in Fontana, but nothing was hotter than Eminem’s set once the sun went down. The guy ruled it, playing some new stuff alongside all his biggest hits. Definitely the highlight of the day. We are heading out for KROQ Epicenter Twenty Ten day 2 now, preparing to sweat in the shade. Ya, it’s worth it. Here’s a low budget snippet of Eminem performing Not Afraid cut short by running out of memory.

KROQ Epicenter Twenty Ten Sound Check

Yesterday while setting up our backstage artist lounge area, we were more than pleasantly surprised. Right when we showed up, the early 90’s band Bush was sound checking. Now the band Bush brings back memories off 1992, but hearing them sound check was totally 2010. Hearing Gavin Rossdale rip his guitar and vocals across the empty festival was way cool. Unfortunately, we have no Gwen Stefani siting to report.
