Sage Erickson | 2011 Swatch Girls Pro | Runner-Up

Big congratulations to Sage Erickson for a fantastic finish in the 2011 Swatch Girls Pro. While she would have preferred ending up victorious, 2nd place is the next best thing. And with this being her second runner-up finish of the year, Sage is a virtual lock to qualify for the 2012 World Tour. One cool thing to note is that Sage did so well in a contest sponsored by one of our competitors, Swatch Watch. Thanks to O’neill and Nylon TV for this behind the scenes look at the latest O’neill Girls Bikini photo shoot. Sage Erickson and Malia Manuel share their insights into whats coming out cool. As a side note, there is an interesting tone to the comments on the youtube page such as, “i like this shoot, because i would rather have the world look up to athletic healthy girls than the stick skinny/drug addict models that feed into girls insecurities.” You know what, we couldn’t aggree more. It’s good to see brands using authentic athletes before scary skinny models to promote their goods. What do you think?
