10 Years of Alliance Wake!
It’s been out for a couple weeks now so if you haven’t picked up a copy shame on you. Na, we aren’t going to harsh on you too bad, we know not everybody has a boat and lake in their backyard but there’s no harm in dreaming. It’s no secret we are loyal supporters of the wake scene and we’re stoked to be involved in Alliance Wakes 10 Year Anniversary Issue. Loyalty runs both ways, which is why we decided to run Melissa Marquardt in this ever important supersized issue; she has stuck with us through thick and thin and we really appreciate her support. As usual we were fashionably late in getting our act together to put this ad in the hopper. With only a day to spare before Alliance was going to send this thing to print we cruised out to Canyon Lake to capture some time with Melissa Marquardt. As luck would have it, the day was nasty. The kind of day that looked like the sky was going to puke cats and dogs at any moment. Good thing Melissa is a trooper and Nick Meistrell is a master of light manipulation, because despite Melissa nearly freezing to death and Nick almost dropping his camera in the water, we nailed it! It’s pretty gratifying to turn a grey day into something pretty darn cool.
