WHAT'S GOING ON
The Vans Peir Classic kicked off earlier this week with good waves and good vibes and plenty of good surfing to go down. Freestyle was down there with alot of our team competeing in the event. Standouts included Freestyle's Sage Erickson who made the womans final and placed 3rd in the event. Guys stand outs were Freetyles Teddy Navarro who started in round one and surfed his way to the quarterfinals where he was stopped by other local boy Brad Ettinger and San Deigo stand out Kyle Knox. After his quarter final finish Teddy took himself to urgent care in Huntington Beach to get himself checked out because he wasnt feeling well the whole event due to flu symtems. Just amagine if he were in better health, he would have taken the event. Congrats to all who surfed in the finals and to local boy Micha Bryne for taking home the crown.
