Fatal Shark Attack in Solana Beach, San Diego California

Wow this hits close to home. Our hearts and prayers go out this poor guy and his family. Freestyle headquarters is only about an hour away from Solana Beach, I’ve surfed there several times. Usually I hit Seaside Reef, but I have surfed in the area that this poor guy got attacked. This is the first attack I’ve ever heard of in Southern California??? Just gnarly, makes you wonder how many are out there. Time to start stacking up the good karma points, this is no joke. For more information on this attack check out
