Welcome to the Official Blog for Freestyle and Shark Watches.
Featuring mind benders, funny sh*t, amazing rides, crazy people, behind the scenes shenanigans and anything and everything that keeps the Freestyle office a buzz. We may not play the same sport or have the same passions, we may not have the same gender, religion or faith, we may not live in the same country, city, or state, but we all spend our days breathing, bleeding and sweating the same way. At the end of the day it's all about performance and together we are Freestyle, we are performance timing, and this is our blog.
Just got this edit from our boy Kevin Aiello from a little huck sesh he had in San Diego.Little known fact is Kevin is also the rider featured in the bike clips in our hype reel, WE ARE FREESTYLE. Ya Kevin, thanks for your support!
Just came across this cruisy LRG x Deadline Crew edit featuring Freestyler, Steve Croteau peddling through the NYC. The double hand rail combo at 1:04 is rad.
We are happy to report our boy Steve-O Croteau just landed a cool interview/video feature on ESPN online. **DISCLAIMER** the first clip is brutal. But that’s what we love about Steve-O, takes a licking a keeps on ticking just like his trusty Shark watch.
If you didn’t catch Steve-O’s BMX Freestyle feature called Making the Moment, give it click.
Here’s a quick look video behind the scenes of a Freestyle BMX photoshoot featuring Steve Crouteau.
Make plan and go for it, of course it’s not that easy, but you get the idea. Good thing we can alway count on Nick to get the shots!
Dropping you the 411 on our friend and industry vet Rick Thorne, who just recently landed on the cover of Obscene Magazine rocking the Freestyle Velvet Shark. No doubt you’ve seen Rick shredding BMX on TV or in the movies, including his part in the recent blockbuster, Mall Cop. We’re not sure how he does it, but he’s also got time to play in his band, Good Guys in Black, and have a radio show on ESPN Action Sports Podcasts. Speaking of that, subscribe to the ESPN Podcast Feed so you can catch an interview featuring Freestyle’s Chad LaBass talking about what’s going down in freestyle town. Thanks again Rick, you rock!
