Welcome to the Official Blog for Freestyle and Shark Watches.
Featuring mind benders, funny sh*t, amazing rides, crazy people, behind the scenes shenanigans and anything and everything that keeps the Freestyle office a buzz. We may not play the same sport or have the same passions, we may not have the same gender, religion or faith, we may not live in the same country, city, or state, but we all spend our days breathing, bleeding and sweating the same way. At the end of the day it's all about performance and together we are Freestyle, we are performance timing, and this is our blog.
In case you missed it on Fuel TV, check out Freestyle riders Spencer Whiting and Sky Siljeg in their New Pollution segments. We are fired up! Thanks for hooking up the awesome logo hits and of course for rocking the watches. Looks like Spencer was digging the Shark and Sky was sporting the sturdy Convert. Aspiring groms, take note!
The gang over at FreesurfTV put together a solid interview of Freestyle rider Shane Dorian. From WCT Competitive standout to free surf wave warrior Shane-O has taken his surfing talent to places most will only dream. Here’s a look into his perspective on living the dream. If you happen to be a grom or know a grom who looks up to Shane, check out his latest Signature Freestyle watch made to fit a little wrist, The Grominator.
Here’s a quick look video behind the scenes of a Freestyle BMX photoshoot featuring Steve Crouteau.
Make plan and go for it, of course it’s not that easy, but you get the idea. Good thing we can alway count on Nick to get the shots!
It’s always nice to get some recognition and it’s about time Nic Lamb got some. He’s had a busy couple years from scoring the cover of Transworld Surf to paddling into giant Mavericks to scoring his first Freestyle ad, Nick has been quietly making a name for himself. Now here’s a chance for you to hear what Nic has got to say on surfline.com.
Dropping you the 411 on our friend and industry vet Rick Thorne, who just recently landed on the cover of Obscene Magazine rocking the Freestyle Velvet Shark. No doubt you’ve seen Rick shredding BMX on TV or in the movies, including his part in the recent blockbuster, Mall Cop. We’re not sure how he does it, but he’s also got time to play in his band, Good Guys in Black, and have a radio show on ESPN Action Sports Podcasts. Speaking of that, subscribe to the ESPN Podcast Feed so you can catch an interview featuring Freestyle’s Chad LaBass talking about what’s going down in freestyle town. Thanks again Rick, you rock!
