Welcome to the Official Blog for Freestyle and Shark Watches.
Featuring mind benders, funny sh*t, amazing rides, crazy people, behind the scenes shenanigans and anything and everything that keeps the Freestyle office a buzz. We may not play the same sport or have the same passions, we may not have the same gender, religion or faith, we may not live in the same country, city, or state, but we all spend our days breathing, bleeding and sweating the same way. At the end of the day it's all about performance and together we are Freestyle, we are performance timing, and this is our blog.
Lads and Lassies, the month of March is upon us and so too is the release of the 20×10 Special Edition Shark #2. As St. Patrick’s Day is hands down the highlight of March, we chose the colors of the Irish Flag to be represent this Special Edition Shark.
The 20×10 Special Editions Sharks come in their own unique packaging so you can’t miss them in the stores.
In case you missed it last year, here’s a video to get you psyched for St. Patty’s Day. We regret not having any fresh clips of the Ultimate Leprechaun; he’s an elusive creature….
May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light,
may good luck pursue you each morning and night.
A few of the guys that ride for Freestyle also ride for Humanity Snowboards. Peep this edit from them; it’s cool to see a new snowboard company pop up that keeps it real. The boards are coming rad too; their graphics are the bomb. Yet another groovy edit from the man with two first names, Davis Paul! Hmm, what does he have in store for the Freestyle Movie, Tick Tock?
We are stoked to be involved with this East Coast snowboard project, The Peace Process. Set aside 3:13 seconds, grab a cold beverage, and dig what these cats are up to.
Check this epic photo from yesterday’s wild weather. Here’s Huntington Beach Pier with a water spout touching down! Shoots, hopefully Jack’s battoned down the hatches!
Can’t wait for the storms to pass and for it to clean up, as the waves should be firing!
Just another example of the old saying, “you’ve got to pay to play” featuring our boy Spencer Whiting. While he’s had a great season so far, winning the 15 and under division of the 1st stop of Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam, Spencer was not so lucky during this Grand Prix pipe practice sesh. Here’s to a speedy recovery and to getting right back on the horse!
Spencer thinking of which rail to hit
Nice and smooth with the frontside board
Oh wait that didn’t tickle your fancy, 50-50 in your face
