Forty-five years ago, Freestyle set out to build a watch that looked great and could take everything a life in the water throws at it.
What started as a fix for surfers who kept killing their watches became something else entirely: a cultural icon worn by ocean lovers, athletes, adventurers and everyday explorers. On beaches, in lineups, at festivals, and everywhere in between.

For Shark Classic's 45th anniversary, Loud Cloud Animation Studio brought the iconic watch to life through handcrafted stop-motion. Real watches, custom-built rigs, practical effects, and a whole lot of frame-by-frame patience went into creating the film (with more on the way)!
